What a crazy weekend we had - lots of fun parties and family time with the kids! We're counting down the days until Disney - I can't wait to see Annie's face when she gets to see Mickey and all of the characters in person. Rumor has it that Grammy has booked us a breakfast with the princesses and a dinner with Mickey and his pals. Per Bob's request we may even get to dine with Pooh and his pals too! A week with Grammy, Papa, Auntie Karla, Uncle Pat, the Harding kids and Auntie Meg - who could ask for more?
Chocolate pudding for breakfast - can you say Mother of the Year?My girl is getting good with a spoon!Auntie Meg took these pictures of Ellie and I love them - there is something about that smile that just melts my heart!Another Auntie Meg picture - not sure what is going on but it looks as though Lizzie is trying to escape!Dr. H-W checking on Lizzie's heart! There is a video below of Annie blowing rasperries on Lizzie's belly but I loved this picture and how Lizzie is looking at her big sister! My long and lean naked baby! Lizzie went to the pediatrician this week and they were amazed at her growth. She weighed in at 17 pounds 8 ounces and 29 inches. She is in the 100th percentile for height and the 75th for weight! Bob couldn't remember her head circumfrence but according to uncle Pat it has to be off the charts! It's brains according to her father!Lizzie got 4 shots and her polio vaccination by mouth. She cried for a minute and then smiled at the nurse and went on about her business. She has the best personality! The hernia is still there but getting smaller and is now only a cosmetic issues and there are no signs of the heart murmur heard previously. We will still follow up with a cardiologist when she turns one year to make sure things are good but trust me - this baby has a strong heart!Annie is all about being a big sister - here she is helping Daddy change the babies! She is such a good helper but a little slow getting the diaper on!Twinnies!Ellie is begging Mommy for some help as Annie and Daddy work on getting the diaper on right!Annie is so proud of her diaper changing ability! My sweet baby girls! I can't believe how big they are getting! The kids had a concert at school - the final one of the year. Julia was very cooperative for pictures but for most of the concert there was a big headed kid in front of her. I did manage to get some video for Brigid but, once again, big head was in the way alot!Molly - girl ready for her show!Molly was very jealous of Julia's dangling earrings - I told her she could have some when she goes to middle school - that sounds fair!Molly singing her little heart out! After the concert we took Molly out for french fries and a chocolate shake.Peter had stayed home sick so it was a nice chance for Bob and I to get some time with Molly - we had a blast! The babies were missing Auntie Ann, Sister Ancie and Sister Anne so we headed over on Saturday while KK took the big kids for a trip to the carnival in Middletown. We had such a nice relaxing day sitting in the backyard - the girls played in the grass and ran from the dog!Poor Lizzie - I forgot to do her hair so she looks like a little orphan!Annie in the garden getting to know Auntie Ann's ducks!Lizzie is officially sitting up all the time now - she loved the grass!Annie loved laying in the grass with Lizzie! My girls playing - Ellie had fallen sound asleep in her seat so she did not get to play in the grass!Annie's piggy toes!Sisters! We left Auntie Ann's and went back home to regroup and head out to a party for one of the doctor's at work - he turned 40 and invited us all over to his home for a bbq! Ellie loved all of the attention she got!The babies playing in the grass - they got lots of attention in their matching dresses! And my girl eating watermelon - I just kept snapping pictures!Molly was off playing with a few friends that she met at the party but Pete stayed close by and entertained us with his dancing! All of the kids were so well behaved and sweet to all of the people at the party despite knowing hardly anyone!Annie loved the bubbles!More bubbles, please!Daddy and Lizzie! One of Mommy's friends from work!My handsome boy!A silly Pete smile!Molly girl takes a shot at the pinata!Pete's turn!Candy for everyone - even the adults!Molly girl checking out her loot!
Julia did a great job singing about the Wheels on the Bus!
The top video is of Annie making Lizzie smile - if you have the volume on you can hear lizzie laughing! I thought Auntie Beth would appreciate this one!
The bottom one is off Molly singing her little brains out to Strong heart.
Strong heart, strong heart
Beating in my chest
Strong heart, strong heart
Helps me do my best!
My girl loves to sing! A great concert and a great weekend! Next weekend we are heading to the beach house but not until we celebrate Auntie Meg and Uncle Tim's engagement!
