Wow - what a whirwind these lat few weeks have been. The big kids finished school on June 15th and did it high style! Each of them did a fabulous job on their report cards and ended the year on a high note!
Molly on her last day of 4th grade - she could not wait to get out of that RED shirt!

Annie Bananie on her last day as a preschooler - Kindegarten here she comes!
Peter was in no mood for pictures but rest assured he was thrilled to be done with 5th grade and moving on to 6th grade next year!

Annie Bananie - Preschooler extraordinairre!

It was such a fun day that even Elizabeth got in a NW uniform!
Annie and Brendan making leaf soup! It was delicious!

Annie digging for some worms for her soup.

Lila getting in on the action - don't worry those are not the wooden spoons we use in the kitchen.

Annie snacking with Lila and Brendan.

Annie loves her Lila hugs!

And Brendan never fails to get in on the action.

My sweet little beauty!

I adore that smile!

Thanks to Uncle Jeff, who took down the big tree in the back yard, our garden is amazing! We have squash, tomatoes, carrots, onions, peppers, beans and cucumbers.

Our first tomato

Annie having a blast on the swings - she never gets tired of it!
The last day of school went by quickly and as soon as the kids got home Auntie Courtney and Uncle Gary were here with all of the kids to pick Peter and Molly up and bring them to Virginia for a few days of vacation without Mom and Dad. This is the first time the big kids have gone away without us and defintely the longest I have ever been away from the big kids but it was wonderful for them.
Courtney texted pictures of them blossoming down in Virginia - meeting new friends, trying new things and just loving the freedom of being with the Troianos. Peter and Molly also adore Aidan and Claire and get along amazingly well with them so they loved the time they got to spend there! The best thing about the trip according to both kids............Auntie Courtney's cooking! Bob and I spent a few days in Virginia when we went to pick the big kids up and I would have to agree! Courtney even got Molly to eat stuffed Zucchini and Squash casserole - I had to see it to believe it!
The next post will have all of our pictures from the mini vacation we took with the three littles to pick Peter and Molly up including a trip through the Six Flags safari and a stay at a hotel! Stay tuned!
