Happy 4th of July

Despite the fact that Grammy was very sick with a cold we all headed down to the beach house for a fourth of July bash. There were incredible fireworks and lots of fun with family and friends. We had a blast and it was the perfect way to spend a very hot weekend.
Three of our little firecrackers.

Molly and Abby didn't waste any time heading over to the beach.

Ellie and her big sister.
My goddaughter looked particularly beautiful in her red, white and blue.

The two Peter's!

And uncle Colin gets in on the 4th of July picture fun.

Another one of Abby looking adorable.
I should have taken a picture of the spread we had - you have never seen so much food.
Grammy and Papa outdid themselves this year.

Uncle Ed brought out some sparklers in the early evening to get things started.
Emily and Ben with their goddaughter, Caitlin. She could not have been more uninterested in taking pictures but poor Emily and Ben could not get either of their kids to take a picture with them.

Caitlin and Auntie Emily.

Taylor gave Chloe an outrageous hairstyle which everyone loved.

The jello treats that Lizzie and Annie helped Auntie Meg make.

Katie and Papa in their American flag t-shirts.

Stella and Caitlin in their favorite chairs having some dessert.

Lila looking pretty in her red, white and blue outfit.

Having fun with her jello.

Lizzie Bug loved he jello that she helped make.

Ellie Bean got new braids for the fourth of July and she loved the way the bigger beads sounded when she shook her head.
KK and Uncle Brian snuggling.

Elizabeth looking beautiful.

I love that smile.

Sister hugs!

The girls loved the pink chairs.

Uncle Brian and his two girls.

Uncle B getting a little Lizzie love before the fireworks started.

Lizzie Bug and her godparents. She would live with Auntie Meg if she could - in fact she tells me that all the time. "I love you and Auntie Meg but I wish I could live with Auntie Meg."
Way to make a Mommy feel good!

Ready for fireworks.
I took a million pictures of the fireworks but none of them came out - my camera is just not cooperating. I thought that when I won my new camera it would be better but I think there may be a reason they were giving them away.

We stayed overnight at the beach house and the next day we could not tear the little girls away from our next door neighbor, Lilly. At around 8 as were leaving to go home they begged for one more dip in the ocean with their friend.

Annie is a little fish in the ocean - no matter how many little critters crawl over he legs.

Lizzie Mack trying to get warm after a late night swim.

Uncle Ed was here for over a week but it didn't seem like long enough. I have lots more pictures to post of the kids with Ed and other things so stay tuned!
