Peter Westley

We are having a low key day at home tomorrow after church so I will post lots of pictures of Molly and Tyler's birthday party. In the meantime I thought you might enjoy this picture of Pete out with Auntie Meg and Tim. They took him to dinner last night at Chili's and apparently one meal was not good enough so he got 2 meals. Then he got to stop at Blockbuster on the way home and rent a new game for the Wii - can you say spoiled? In all honesty Pete has been in need of some time from his aunties which he got in abundance this week. I don't even try to make things even with the three kids but Molly is such a girl and so easy to grab and take shopping (even to the grocery store) that she tends to get lots more one on one time than the other two. Pete is generally pretty good about enjoying his homebody status and not really noticing the discrepency but he had his nose out of joint a few times this week. It was nice for him to get a day with KK on Thursday and then time with Meg on Friday - if only all kids were as lucky as mine to have all of these people clamoring for time with them.
Also - Auntie Beth - a nice neighbor from down the street came over with something for us last night - Auntie Beth's note to Molly. It apparently got delivered to her by accident but she did not know that the other side of the highway overpass was still Orchard Street so she was going to take it to the PO and just never got there - it was postmarked almost a month ago and she was very apologetic! She apparently realized our address was the same as the one on the envelope delivered to her in error as she admired the kids waiting for the bus one morning at 7 a.m.

Handsome boy eating a corndog!

We found the illusive cord!

Phew - found the cord! It was placed in Nola's bassinet that has been sitting in our room waiting for our little bundle and getting piled high with clothes and other junk in the meantime!
My big strong dad came over on Thursday night and chopped down the awful tree on the side of our yard. I had gone out to take Pete to hip hop and found these VERY unsupervised pictures of my daughter on the tree stump!

Papa and Annie chatting on the tree stump!
Sharing a drink with Papa on the stump!
My girl hanging out on the tree stump.
Notice no one holding her up or standing near her!
I'm never leaving the men alone with her again!
Papa and Annie playing on the big stump!
Unsupervised again....................
I thought the kids looked adorable leaving for school yesterday morning - the red and khaki are already wearing on me though!
Pete was apparently VERY cold yesterday morning as he found himself a scarf - he ended up taking it off before he got on the bus - how cute is he?

Annie has a bit of cold so Bob stayed inside with her - she looked out the window at us pathetically while we waited for the bus. She already wants to be doing EVERYTHING the big kids do and does not like being left out - look at those puppy dog eyes!
Molly had her first Irish Step Dancing Class tonight and when we got there my cousin Colleen was walking around with her daughter, Nora. The baby is a doll and Colleen looks like she has been doing this motherhood thing forever.

My gorgeous goddaughter had her first Irish Step Dancing class ever last night and she had a blast. This is her posing for me!
Banana hanging out waiting for Molly to finish class!
As a treat we went out to dinner after class at Village Pizza - Molly and Annie were having a blast playing and hugging. Pete was not with us because Auntie Meg kidnapped him for dinner and some Wii time!
Annie loving on her sister!
Molly girl after dance class when we stopped at Grammy and Papa's house.
I saw my friend Cathy Cody whose daughter, Shannon was diagnosed with Leukemia at the beginning of the summer. Shannon is doing well, although still undergoing treatments and on lots of medications. Shannon was able to do her 1st step dancing class and I got a chance to check in with Cathy. Cathy looks absolutely exhausted but is amazingly hopeful as Shannon's tests have come back great! Cathy has had to go back to work full time to cover the costs of Shannon's medical care and also has to be vigilant about Shannon's health and exposure to germs so she has a lot on her plate. I was telling her how much I admire her positive attitude and her response was "It's not like someone offered me a plan B." PLease keep Cathy and her family in your prayers!
Molly and Tyler's birthday party is today so there will be lots more pictures coming!

Short update!

No real updates since they really aren't that much fun without pictures and I am searching high and low for the cord to my camera!
Peter started hip-hop classes today and Molly starts her Irish Step Dancing Classes tomorrow - they both LOVE their respective dance classes and look so cute - thank you, Auntie Beth! Pictures to follow - I promise!
We had open house at Noah Webster last night - kind of annoying as some parents treat it as a conference and don't allow the teachers to speak in a general way but use it to speak about their own children only. I did get the important information - days for specials, curriculum notes, technology updates and goals for the kids this year. Both kids are doing great so far and LOVE LOVE LOVE the bus and their teachers. Peter's teacher has quickly endeared herself to me as she proves just how well she knows Pete already and has already picked up on some of his more subtle but promising characteristics. She is also just a sweetheart! Peter asked me in tha car the other day if Ms. Kelly could marry Uncle B so she could be his aunt! Sounds good to me!
Molly's teacher already had a good handle on our girl because she had Pete last year but had a few interesting comments about how "chatty" Molly can be and how outgoing. This is not a comment we had heard often in regard to Molly - great news that she is coming out of her shell a bit. Peter came off the bus Tuesday shouting that Molly had lost some of her recess that day. We were shocked as Molly rarely gets in trouble at school - turns out she was running down the slide and had to be told 3 times not to do it so the other 1st grade teacher took away 5 minutes of her recess. Then on the way home she was sitting with her cousin, Julia, on the bus and pinched her causing the bus driver to make her move to a new seat - once again, SO unlike Molly! Kind of interesting turn of events! Today Julia got her seat moved on the bus for hitting Molly in the tummy - the bus driver said to me "These girls always fight like this?" I said that they were great friends and he laughed and said "I don't know about that!"
I have my last Heparin shot tomorrow - yeah - and baby Nola looks great! 7 weeks to go till baby day and this large tummied Mama can't wait!

Lots of fun pictures and Annie's first carnival ride!

Pete and Tyler were a little less than cooperative at soccer on Saturday but once they got into it they both did great - and they both looked adorable. No idea why Pete insists on wearing his baseball hat for soccer every week. This week the kids will get a treat when KK helps do the soccer transporting so Mommy can go to the open house at Noah Webster!

Peter and Tyler getting some prodding from Daddy/Uncle Bob.

Our boys playing soccer.
Peter playing goalie - he kept asking Bob when he could get out of there and go run around! Don't think that is going to be his position.
I love this picture of Tyler - what a handsome boy!
Molly and Annie playing with the extra soccer balls.
Uncle BOb coaching Tyler on playing goalie.
My boy racing down the field.
Ready to play!
Banana loved the soccer ball.
The boy in the soccer huddle.
My beautiful goddaughter, Julia, turned five on Saturday - is that possible?
We all hung out at the Laurito's house and the kids loved the bouncy thing!
Molly and the birthday girl on the swings.
Molly hanging out with my baby belly!
Abaigeal running and playing - how cute is she?
Grammy and a tired, sweaty Annie Bananie!
The little old ladies clucking over Julia opening her presents.
My beautiful girl in the bouncy thing -another one of Eileen's pitures. Happy Birthday, Julia!
I loved this picture of Abby that Eileen took!
Annie walking in the grass.
Papa and Peter taking Annie in the bouncy thing!
Having fun jumping!
Too gorgeous!
Present time!
Auntie Ann and her namesake!
Grammy and Katie!
Katie looking cute in her hat!
The three girls playing Hannah Montana!
Shirtless boys in the jumpy thing - notice the other kids vacated quickly!
The kids all ready for the carnival!
Molly's favorite ride at every carnival - the big slide. I love that smile on her face!
Peter and Molly on the big slide!
Abby on the Orange Whip!
Annie playing with the toy that Peter won! I missed my chance to get a picture of KK doing air guitar with it!
Annie's 1st carnival ride! Molly was "taking care of her".
Abby was very into the rides this time - she had a blast!
The girls having fun on the firetruck ride!
Banana driving the truck - too cute, our girl!
The boys watching Abby, Annie and Molly on the ride!

Annie was worn out after her big ride!
My beautiful girl with her face painted as a kitty cat!
So it was a fun weekend - Sunday was a lazy day at home for the boys and Annie while KK and I took Molly shoping and running errands. Daddy also treated us to lunch at Olive Garden while we were out - yummy!
BTW - Annie went to the doctor again because her antibiotics are not working on her ears - trying another one until the 22nd when we start the "tubes" conversation again!
Looking for a great book? I'm reading "Belong to Me" and, although moving slowly thanks to sleep deprivation, really love it!
