Just a little update

Lizzie and Bob were sitting at the counter just chatting and loving on each other so I couldn't help but take a few pictures. Lizzie is getting so mature looking - less like a baby and more like a little girl everyday. She speaks really well now - in full sentences and most people can understand her. It is fun to hear what comes out of her mouth these days.

Kisses for Daddy

Lizzie wouldn't look at the camera but I still loved how these came out - what a beauty!

Binky Baby

Katie came over for the day last week while Grammy had he surgery and the girls insited that we had a tea party. It was at that point that I realized how NOT girlie I am. I had no idea what to serve but the girls certainly had some ideas. They also made sure that they were dressed appropriately in tutus and dance shoes. By the way, grammy's eye surgery went GREAT. She is seeing better than ever and Uncle Pat and I had the honor of spending some time with my mom when she got home from the hospital and was slightly loopy! I wish we had had a video recorder - she was hysterical!

Katie and Annie loved their "tea" - otherwise known as hot chocolate.

We had goldfish, cookies, raisins, cut up fruit and whipped cream!

BFF's - could they be any happier?

Annie has just discovered that as the older sister she can get the babies to do certain things - like be her "babies". She particularly loves to make Ellie sit on her lap and be her baby because Ellie pretty much complies with anything. It is hysterical,

Burping her baby!

We LOVE Spring! Thanks to Uncle B the girls are ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS decked out in their Sesame Street sweatshirts - we have to pry them off their sweaty little bodies at night just to wash them! Don't say anything but Bob and I are saving our pennies to take the kids to Sesame Place this summer for a day or two - they are at the perfect ages and, obviously love Sesame Street!

Elie is finally learning to love being outside. Mommy's high in the sky pushes help!

Our little free spirit. Annie loves to swing with her head back and her eyes closed so "she can dream!" Notice the shoes on the wrong feet!

Out little Ladybug has to be dragged off the playscape at night. It can be 20 degrees and pitch black and she will still be happily swinging!

Big sister love for Ellie!

These girls make my heart swell with love! They are going to be so lucky to have each other!

Peter was playing soccor and then started doing one of his crazy dances to make the girls laugh. They could not possibly love their big brother more!

It has to be said that Peter and I are at odds about his hair. He is trying to grow it out but hates to brush it out or put the gel in it so it looks like a rat's nest all the time. It makes me insane and I want it chopped off. In fairness to him I did (stupidly) say that he could grown it out until the summer and then get it braided but this is ridiculous!

Yes, they are not only sitting next to each other but they are smiling! Truth be told - I bribed them with a treat for these pictures but it was worth it. 5 minutes of laughing and kidding with each other followed by 5 minutes of screaming and hitting each other - not a bad trade off!

I love Molly's face - typical little sister!

Truth be told - for all of their issues Molly and Peter can be very loving and sweet with each other, Molly is extremely forgiving of Peter when he gets controling and he, in turn, is so protective of Molly that we worry baout the guys who try to take her on a date someday!

My beautiful girl enjoying the sunshine!

My girls are the BEST! Annie loves to be with Molly doing anything! She tries to dress like her, talk like her, eat like her and everything else - I love to watch them together!

This is what Annie does when you tell her to be Sassy!

Molly had a special date this weekend with Auntie Brigid and Uncle Joe - her godparents! They took her to the jewelery store and let her pick out her very own cross for her 1st Holy Communion. They were there for quite a while so I think she had trouble deciding but Molly is thrilled with her beautiful necklace. She picked a sterling silver one with a crucifix on it and a thick chain so she can wear it everyday and not worry about breaking it. First Holy Communion is a very special day for Molly and it meant so much to her that her godparents took the time to spend time with her choosing a special symbol of that day.

This is how I keep finding Molly - checking out her cross!

Well, Easter is almost here and the kids are really excited. Molly said that she really wanted to go see the RCIA candidates become Catholic and that she wanted to stay up late and go to the vigil with me this year. Once I reminded her that mass was over two hours long she decided that she really should be home in bed in case the Easter Bunny comes early! That's my girl. We can't wait to go to morning mass and then head over to Grammy and Papa's for the day! There is no better way to celebrate the resurrection of Christ than in the presence of family and friends!
GNM - ILY!
