I am way behind on updating the blog but I have been a feeling a bit under the weather lately and the kids are.............well, they're kids! They are requiring some serious attention of late and it doesn't leave much time for blogging. That being said - I wouldn't have it any other way and as the summer winds down I am so grateful for the time we have had as a family. Last weekend Bob and I took a few days off at the end of the week and went to stay with my parents at the beach house. My mom has been asking us to do this for 2 summers but I was feeling like we are a lot of work as houseguests and are probably better day trippers. This year we finally took her up on it and it was wonderful. There is nothing better as a mom of five then going home and being spoiled by your own Mom. I slept late, ate better than ever and got the joy of being with my husband and kids with both of my parents. On Friday night Bob and I got to go out alone and talk for a while and on Saturday the Fife and Drum parade was happening right up the street - does it get better than that?
The only thing that could make it better was having Uncle Ig and Auntie LuAnn stop over and visit on their trip back east.

Tiffany left to go back to college - we are going to miss her so much but no one as much as Annie. She can not get enough of Tiffany and asks for all the time.

Annie loves going to football with Daddy - here she is all packed up with her baby and her purse - I love it!BTW - Peter has decided to stop doing football - the committment was huge (6 days a week) and Peter really didn't enjoy it so we decided to stop now and concentrate on school.

This video is really dark but I thought it was so cute watching Annie get excited for Daisy to get to the beach house! No one is as popular as Daisy the ice cream lady! I'm off to catch up on my DVR shows while Bob is at poker making us some money! GNM - ILY!
