Black and White Fall Fun

It was a perfect fall day, Bob was more than ready to build piles of leaves and the kids were bursting with energy! Oh Yeah - and Mommy grabbed the camera for some fall pictures! I was in a black and white kind of mood - okay - you're right - I was not in a black and white mood but the kids were dressed in odd colored clothes and their wonderful mother did NOT wash their faces after dinner so black and white makes us all look a bit more presentable! The only color in the pictures is the "Sky Blue Pink" pictures that the kids had me take for Grammy and Papa at the end! Enjoy!

Despite the frost over the last few weeks Molly's rose bush is still blooming strong. I couldn't resist one last picture before the rose bushes hibernate for the winter! GNM - ILY!

Wishing Cassie many blessings!

Our niece Cassidy Jane, Cassie to most of us, was christened this weekend. Uncle Ig really gets around, flying out to San Diego to be there to baptize Cassie a mere week after christening Ellie here in CT. It is such a blessing that Uncle Ig makes the effort to be here for our special events and that the kids will always know how much they are loved by him. It is sad that we can't be there for Cassie on her big day but we were thinking about her and wishing her all of the blessings she deserves!
Congratulations to Todd, Michelle and especially Cassie for becoming Catholic! We love you!

What a weekend?

WOW - Auntie Meg is really and truly married. All of that planning and dreaming and anticipating and the day has come and gone. Meg and Tim are on a cruise ship headed to the Bahamas, Molly is not sure that she can make it a day without seeing Auntie Meg, and I cry every time I think of my baby cousin being a married woman! Weddings are hard - so much planning and time and then unpredictable things happen no matter what. Either way - at the end of the day it's about a marriage and not a wedding and we all know that Auntie Meg and Uncle Tim are destined for a long and happy marriage! This is a little preview of Lizzie's Halloween costume - Auntie Meg got to pick it out and she decided on a Garden Gnome - I think it is the cutest thing ever.Tuesday night we went up to Auntie Kake's for KK's birthday - Uncle Colin did a little bonding with his goddaughter.Remember the Sit and Spin - Lizzie thought it was the greatest and Molly loved helping her out!Happy Birthday KK!Blowing out the candles - Grammy made a funfetti cake with no frosting! What a cutie!Molly Harding and Molly GarraheyKatie dressed like a little eskimo.Team huddle!Ready for the handshake.Team pizza party.Auntie Beth was here for Molly's last game - she was so proud of our little soccer superstar! BOb and I think it is the cutest thing how Molly runs down the soccer field with a skip most of the time. We think it is because she does so much skipping during Irish Step Dancing that it is just habit. Our Irish Step Dancing Soccer Star!Mommy and Daddy are so proud of our girl!Peter wants in on the hug!Auntie Beth and a bundled up Katie.Auntie Meg's rehearsal dinner!
