Molly's Big game!

Molly played soccer for the first time this year and has loved every minute of it! On Wednesday she had her last soccer game and it was freezing! I didn't realize how cold it was until we were up at the field and shivering.

Molly's soccer coach gave everyone a soccer tatoo before the game - my girl loves her tatoos!
Auntie Karla is so good - she brought Abby and Katie up to the field to see Mols last game.
Annie trying to keep warm and looking really cute.
Katie barely noticed the cold - how beautiful is this baby?
Molly and her friend Fiona hanging out waiting for the game to start.
I finally let Annie get out of the stroller to find out just how cold it really was! Her teeth were chattering.
Checking things out and cheering for Molly.
Annie thinking she might want to get back into the stroller and curl up with her warm blankie!

Look at my girl go!
She came really close to scoring a goal on this one!
Look at Molly - right in the middle of all of the action. The thing you can't see in these action shots is the hige grin on her face as she runs around like a lunatic.
Another great move.

Molly on defense.
Ready for anything.
Slowing down towards the end.
How cute is this kid?
Lined up for the end of the season party.
Molly and some of her teammates having cupcakes and cookies.
My beauty looking tired and happy to be having a snack with her teammates.
molly getting her trophy.
Molly was so excited to get her trophy for soccer. She can't wait until next year and neither can I - she is an absolute joy to watch while she plays!
Annie going after the soccer ball in our lovely weeds.
My sweet baby kicking the soccer ball.
Pretty girl with her soccer ball.
Our little beauty hanging out in the yard!
Annie got tired of walking in the tall grass.

Helping with the soccer net!
My boy showing off his mad soccer skills. He was supposed to be helping Daddy pile the cord of wood in our driveway!
banana hanging out in the grass.
I obviously thought Annie looked adorable today - I couldn't stop clicking away!
My sweet girl.
Peter and Daddy setting up the soccer net!
We all enjoyed the nice fall day - lets hope for a few more of these before the really cold weather sets in. Papa called from Haiti tonight - he sounds wonderful and the kids were thrilled to hear his voice. He has been to Mother Theresa's orphanage, the bread line and a bunch of other places and is headed on a mission tomorrow. He won't be back until Saturday and then gets home late Monday night - we miss him!

Technology - Yuck!

I couldn't just be happy with my plain and simple blog design - no I had to attempt to get fancy and have now lost all of my blog gadgets. I know, I know - I can go back and replace everything at some point but I'm just not in the mood for this crap! I'm giving up on being cool and sticking with what I know - very little! And now my inspiration to blog is gone so I'll leave you with a few updates.
These pictures were just for a fluid check today so they aren't clear but there were a few things worth mentioning.
First - the ultrasound tech asked how I felt about babies with lots of hair because it appears from all of the bubbles around her head that she likely has alot of hair! I told her that we take them anyway they come!

This one was cute because she was putting her hand up to her forehead in a dramatic fashion everytime we got near her with the wand. My fluid was great and so was hers and she officially beat Annie in the most ultrasounds deparment - this was her 34th ultrasound - my insurance company hates me!I finally sucked it up and decided that Annie needed to stop taking a bottle at night. We started and stopped this process a few times over the last few months but I finally realized how traumatic it will be for poor Annie if we take away her bottles just as Elizabeth comes home with her bottles. Things started out okay and than went downhill fast. I let Daddy be the bad guy and try to give her some regular milk in a cup before sending her off to the crib. The fighting began when she realized she had milk and no formula - she hates milk!
And then she got REALLY mad at Daddy and started shrieking! Bob stayed calm and sang to her until she started yelling "Night night". She was pissed enough at us that she just wanted to go to bed and be done with this whole thing.Daddy -looking a bit haggard - finally calms her down and brings her to bed! Another phase of her babyhood over! If I wasn't already having a baby this is the point where I would be wishing for one!

Peter had a field trip to the Apple Orchard today and Bob was lucky enough to go with him - they had a blast and came home with more apples than we will ever consume in a month. Bob, my perfect husband, has one fatal flaw - the inability to remember the camera for these occasions. A friend was on the trip so all may not be lost but for now you'll have to just have to picture the fun they had picking apples and telling knock knock jokes with Peter's class!

My Dad is in Haiti - he took a flight out this morning and hopefully has joined his group by now. Keep him in your prayers for a safe journey and lots of good work accomplished!

Random weekend pictures!

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post tonight to put up some pictures from the weekend and a little update on our Friday md appointment. Baby Elizabeth is doing great - less fluid but still enormous - the scans suggested 7 pounds 3 ounces. I will go for daily non-stress tests this week to be safe but everything looks good and we may end up keeping our November 11th date - hard to say with so many people involved it seems as though we get a different story everytime we go. The fetal specialist is the ultimate authority and he hasn't changed the date yet. We'll see how this week goes! Either way 5 weeks to go - yeah!

Katie looked adorable at the boys soccer game on Saturday! I love the little ears on her coat!
Tyler and his soccer team in a time out. Pete was in goal so it was hard to get pictures of him.
Tha handsome coach talking soccer.
Annie on a walk with Tyler, Abby and Auntie at the soccer game on Saturday!
The kids all looked so cute and sleepy yesterday morning that I wanted to get a picture - Annie was not in the mood!
Annie going in for a hug a few minutes later. She is wearing another of Molly's sleepers with little duckies all over it - too cute. Especially when she walked around all morning saying "Cack, Cack" (Quack, Quack)

We had our first fire tonight during the Patriots game - I hate football so my concession to watching it with BOb and the kids was good snack food and a fire. Annie was not sure what to make of the fire!
Pete did not understand why the game had to last so long!
Daddy and Peter - proud of their "Man fire".
Annie checking the fire out - she kept shieking everytime she looked at it!
Our silly girl.
And another one with the fire!
Papa stopped over to chek in on everyone and Molly could not have been happier to see him - she never left his lap!
Papa and Molly pouting! Too cute. Papa was due to leave for Haiti tomorrow but something happened with his ticket so we aren't sure what is happening. We would be just as happy to have him stay here but he was so excited about going that we will be sad for him if he doesn't get to go - plus everyone needs a little Papa - especially the people in Haiti.
Papa and Peter hamming it up - Molly took this picture. A few minutes later Papa had the big kids in bed asleep and Annie asleep in his arms.
Did the whole weekend really go by already?
My dad and Bethie are reading "The Shack" and my Dad loves it! My Mom and BOb are next to read it!
