O Say Can you See............

My parents had lots of friends and family down to the beachhouse last weekend to celebrate one of my all time favorite holidays, the 4th of July! It was a beautiful day, on the hot side but bearable, with good food, good friends and LOTS of fireworks!
Papa and his girl! You can't really see it in this picture but Annie has freckles ALL over her face!

Ellie gets her turn with Papa!

Papa and his only grandsons!

Papa even snuck into this picture!

Lizzie loves to use Grammy's binnoculars!

Our sweet baby girl!

Lizzie loves Papa's pink chairs!

Katie was telling me to be quiet because her baby was sleeping!

What a cute man I married!

Papa and Lady Li on her 1st 4th of July!

Kk giving Brendan some snuggles!

Daddy and Ellie can't wait to get this party started!

Auntie Jane and Macklin - he isn't smiling in this picture but he usually is - he is the cutest baby!

Resting up!

Ellie and Lila

Tyler and Peter were very proud of their HUGE hole!

Papa and Ellie

Papa and Miss Patti hanging out on the beach! I have to be nice to Miss Patti because she now works with me at CHC - good thing we love her!

Everyone jumped in the hole!

My beautiful beach baby!

Another of my beautiful beach babies!

Abby being a goofball for her godmother!

Julia loving on her Daddy!

These two girls just sit on the beach making sand castles and talking about everything! I really hope that they are always this close!

The boys are the same way - they could spend days together and we will still find them talking non-stop! I hope one day they realize how lucky they are to have each other!

Getting buried by Papa!

Going for a ride in the Kayak - Papa has endless energy for his grandchildren! He amazes me!

Loving their boat ride!

Uncle Rob and Reillyn getting ready for the fireworks to start!

Tyler and Auntie Karla got their front row seats!

Uncle Bob is holding Brendan but he still isn't sure about his 1st fireworks!

Katie and Annie LOVE fireworks!

Grammy got all the kids glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets.

2 of my favorite people in the world - Nancy and BOb!

My handsome son watching the fireworks!

Molly and Brendan

My beautiful goddaughter settles in with her drink! Julia used to be terrified of fireworks so we are happy that now she loves them and can stay later with us!

Auntie Jane with the scared babies - poor Ellie Bean was shaking!

Uncle Steve got Ellie out on the porch!

Brendan and Lila's 1st fireworks!

I love this picture of the Lawrence Family enjoying the fireworks together. It is hard to believe that there was a life before Lila and Brendan but last year we still had no idea what they would look like let alone what kind of tiny people they would be!

Poor Macklin was terrified but Auntie brigid covered his ears and snuggled him!

A sample of the AMAZING fireworks that Uncle Ed and the boys shot off right in front of us on the beach!

What a patriotic group!

Annie and Uncle Rog!

Katie and Lizzie were getting very tired but they never took their eyes off the show!

Annie could not wait for Daisy!

Tim and Meghan

What a cute little family!

Beautiful Molly Girl!

Lizzie and her godmother!

Auntie Kake and Lila enjoying the show!

Tyler and Annie finally relaxed after Daisy came!
Auntie Sue and Uncle Steve saluting the flag and singing the Star Spangled banner
We had a wonderful day down at Seaside Avenue. Grammy and Papa had the best fireworks display on the beach and the food was unbelievable - no one went home hungry that is for sure! It is one more day that reminds me of how many ways that we are blessed beyond words. We live in a free country where we are protected by brave men and women of the armed forces, we are surrounded by a loving immediate family and a supportive and kind extended family, we have a beautiful summer home to visit where Grammy and Papa welcome everyone, our children laugh and run among adults who adore them and God blesses us with the ability to celebrate days like the 4th safely and together!
