What a Weekend!

I finally have a few minutes to post the rest of our pictures from this weekend. We had a great weekend between the boys making their 1st Communion and Mother's Day but, Boy, were we tired on Sunday night!

Peter was very nervous about getting up to make his 1st Communion - can't you tell?
Getting some support from his godfather!

Tyler Patrick - ready to get this show on the road and make his 1st Communion!

Seanie just wanted to get going - he confessed to being a bit nervous!

Grammy and TylerUncle Pat with his son and godson!Gotta love those Godparents!Mrs. Fleck - Peter's religion teacher knew that Peter struggled with getting up in front of people and she stayed with him through the entire ceremony. She had also sent him a guardian angel coin to put in his pocket and he kept his hand on it the whole time. Mrs. Fleck has a family of her own and teaches full time but she took alot of time making sure that Peter felt safe and loved while in church school and at the ceremony. We are so grateful for people like her in our church family - what a blessing!Tyler with his parents! The Harding FamilyI had to get a picture of this - are they really not fighting? But seriously - molly leaned over after Peter made his communion and said "I am so proud of my brother today, Mom!"Aunt Renee with Peter and ElliePeter giving hugs goodbye.Hanging with Papa.Uncle Ed and his GoddaughterThe girls trying to find some music.Annie - she had to wear tights!Annie and Katie playing on the floor. Our little Ladybug having fun!The boys with their cakes from Auntie Ann - she made 2 beautiful cakes - one for each boy! The parents and their holy boys!Auntie Meg and Aunt ReneeI started out taking table pictures but only got to 2 of them. The amazing cakes that Auntie Ann made for each boy.Auntie Ann was so proud of her boys!Katie cakesThe only other table picture - sorry.Ellie was ready for a nap.Molly and LizziebugI love love love this picture of Tyler. It is not often that you see that big wide grin on Tyler and what a handsome boy he is!Peter and Tyler loved all of their gifts - especially the GameStop gift card from Grammy and Papa. They went out Saturday night with Bob to get games. My 2 handsome boys!I could not get a good picture of this but Auntie Ann got M&M's made with tyler and Peter's names and faces on them - it was way too cool!Mother's Day - my little angels. I was so spoiled by my entire family. I woke up to my favorite breakfast of Cannoli's from Auntie Meg. She also spoiled me with gorgeous yellow tulips! The big kids got me slippers, charms for my Pandora bracelet and the most beautiful cards. Molly's had a poem and Peter's had very thoughtful messages about how much he loves being my son - I cried hysterically! After that I went back to bed and finished my book in bed and then woke up and showered at around 10. At noon we rushed off to meet Grammy and Auntie Karla and the kids for another Mother's Day celebration. My little angel on Mother's DayThe whole crew at Michael Angelo's for Mother's Day. Abby got me a beautiful "Godmother" frame that will hopefully have a picture of she and I in it soon. I feel so blessed to be Abby's godmother - I can't tell you the joy that she brings to me! I also got a call from a few of my other godchildren that made me feel so special - how did I get so lucky? Julia called and told me to "relax" on Mother's Day - I took it to heart and did just that.

Karla and I also got Pandora charms from my parents - my mom let my dad pick them out and I love it! It is a bright blue, clear stone that makes me think of my dad every time I look at it. I love when my mom sends my dad out shopping or lets him pick stuff out for the kids. It happens rarely but when it does I get a kick out of thinking about him when I use it or put something on the kids! And what can I say about my mom - she exceeds all expectations of what a mother should be - especially to a 38 year old woman. She is kind, loving, supportive and loves me and my family unconditionally! I can not imagine being a woman or a mom without my mother to be my role model - she is Not my best friend - because that would be weird - but she is someone that I love being with, around and compared to! I hope that my children have the kind of love and respect for me onw day that Patrick and I have for my mom. After lunch we went back to Grammy's for chocolate cake and ice cream - Yeah! the kids played out in the yard for a while and had a blast. Then it was home for tubbies and bed! It was a wonderful weekend thanks to all of our amazing family and friends!

GNM - ILY!
