Just for Auntie Ann

When the matriarch of the family calls and says that you need to update your blog - well - you just get moving and update your blog! We have had quite a few weeks in the Harding - Wheeler house. The bunk beds are a huge hit during the day - at night there are still some minor issues. Lizzie and Annie have taken over the bottom bunk leaving the top for Ellie (who is still in her crib for now) the smallest of the bunch. I suspect that Ellie will be in a crib for a while as she seems fairly comfortable there so for now going to bed is just a big giggle fest as Annie and Lizzie get used to sleeping together!

Sleepy babies in their bunkbeds all snug and happy!
The green mashed potatoes were not a hit on Saint Patrick's Day but the Shamrock Shakes fomr McDonalds were!

My sweet baby girl loving her binkies!

Annie loves to do anything with her big sister. Here she is after a makeover session!

Make-up, earrings, hair done and a pretty dance outfit!

She thinks she is the queen of everything!

Sisters!

Annie drew fur on her tunny so she could be a dog!

Then lined Lizzie up to be a dog too!

Daddy and his girl!

Annie in her raincoat ready for some spring fun!

Tyler and Peter enjoying the beautiful day - inside playing video games.

Lizzie loves to be outside and can get herself on the swings and give herself a push.

Annie Bananie - our free spirit!

Ellie does not love being on her own on the swings - she would rather be pushed for hours at a time!

Spring clean-up involved some leaves - the girls could not have been happier!

Annie and Lizzie throwing leaves at each other.

Annie had a blast!

Our baby girls loving the leaves.

Even when Daddy buried them!

Lizzie even helped Daddy gather the leaves back up.

Then we moved onto the playscape and the slide!

Ellie is so proud of herself because she can go down the stairs by herself.

Our beautiful girl peeking out at Mommy!

It was not warm enough for no shoes but I did find someone (Lizzie!) missing her boot when I got outside!

We waited so long for the sun to shine on our babies while they played outside that I actually LOVE this picture!

Dance party!

Our little Ladybug loving life!

Ellie loves being up on the playscape with the sisters - she was squealing with delight!

Ladybug looks like an orphan with her dirty face, leaves in her hair, mismatched clothes and booger nose but she is all ours and we love her!

Daddy and his girl! Poor Els still has the goopiest nose but she doesn't want to miss the fun of being outside with the girls so she just deals with us blowing her nose 10 times a minute!

Our girls on the tire swing.

Annie's favorite way to swing.

Lizzie hates going in circles - she is alot like her mom!

The other girls figured out how to give Annie a push.

These pictures look overexposed but it was really that the sun was shining so bright on the yard. Lizzie loves when Daddy pitches the ball to her and according to Bob she is a prtty great hitter.

Lizzie in her purple galoshes - her favorite shoes at the moment.

Ellie prefers football and does a pretty amazing job kicking! I'm not sure if you can see the little smile but she was happier than she has been in a long time. We ended up outside for 3 hours because the girls were having so much fun!

Ready o throw to Daddy - she looks so serious!

Lizzie hit the ball and then starts running around the bases - Daddy is training her well!

When Bob and I did pre-Cana before we got married there was a question that asked where we saw ourselves in 5 years after our wedding. We both had almost identical answers. In our big backyard sitting in lawnchairs, holding hands, watching our gaggle (I used gaggle, he said 10) of kids playing! How lucky are we that we both had the same dream and that God made those dreams come true in such a wonderful way. I often find myself tearing up when Bob and I take a minute to just acknowledge the blessings that have come our way! We are so incredibly blessed!

H-W batting practice.

Not exactly how it is supposed to happen but they sure are trying hard!

Our little baseball star!

Daddy is proud of that swing.

I took this picture because when I looked over I realized that this is how Bob spent the first year of Annie's life - with her curled up on his chest sleeping! He could not have been happier!
The kids had vacation this week and were lucky enough to spend some of it with Auntie Eileen and Uncle Jeff doing all sorts of fun things! Auntie Ann has worked with Molly to pick out a pattern and amterial for her 1st Communion dress and we can't wait to see it! On Friday we went to breakfast and then to the Mashuntucket Pequot Museum which was wonderful! Last night the kids all stayed up late to watch the UCONN Men with Papa and KK.
We are so blessed!
