I love any patriotic holiday and i certainly did my motherly duty on the 4th and got the kids decked out in red, white and blue for some family photos! They weren't thrilled until we reminded them that we were leaving for 4 days at the beachhouse with Grammy and Papa and a fun day with all of their cousins and aunts and uncles. It was a perfect day capped off by an amazing fireworks demonstration set off by Uncle B. We missed Uncle Ed alot - the 4th of july is usually his day to show off his fireworks skills and hang with the kids but since he is in Utah he was all the kids talked about!

We had a wonderful time at the beachhouse! We stayed up late talking, watching movies and playing cards every night and during the day we laughed, played and napped! It was a prefect mini vacation!
