It's a great day to be Irish!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to everyone, near and far! It feels like we have been celebrating for a week now - Oh wait - we have! We started last week with the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Hartford and are still celebrating!
Our four girls dressed and ready for the Saint Paddy's Day parade - we had trouble finding green but we were green in spirit!

Molly and Annie posing for Mama!

My five little leprechauns all ready for the parade!

Annie was still a bit under the weather and ended up back at the doctor the next day so she got a spot right on Papa's lap!

Tyler was all ready for the parade but we had to wait a while for it to start!

The baby girls have not been in the stroller in a while but it was the easiest way for them to stay warm so we brought it with us - it ended up being a great idea!

Molly and Abby were all bundled up and ready!

Papa and the girls - Katie had a rough time with all the noise and commotion!

Gotta love my gorgeous goddaughter and her sunglasses.

Molly Dolly is just liker her mama - she LOVES a parade!

We found a sunny little spot on Capital Avenue and set up our chairs.

Papa and Ellie having a snack!

We were very well prepared with chairs and blankets!

Uncle Pat keeping everyone warm.

Auntie Meg and Uncle Tim stopped for breakfast so they got there a little late but we saved a spot for Lila and Brendan right up close to the action!

Brendan loved the parade and looked adorable in his teddy bear hat!

Miss Lila refused to keep her hat on but she loved the necklaces that the girls kept giving her!

Brendan all warm under his blanket.

Daddy and Annie - she just kept scooting from lap to lap!

Toby is our new friend who came to the parade to hang out with us.

This is Tony's grandmother, Eunice and his parents Isreal and Chris. They all volunteer out at Amazing Grace with Auntie Kake and we had a blast getting to know them and watching the parade together!

Lady Li finally kept her hat on.

Lizzie Bug was freezing but she was a trooper!

Tyler figured out that he could recline in his chair and still see the parade so he was just chillaxing and watching everything.

Papa never has an empty lap.

Buggy getting warm.

One of our favorite parade displays - Griffith Academy!

The Griffith Academy dancers doing a jig right in front of us.

Everyone ended up leaving early because it was so cold. Auntie Karla and Uncle Pat couldn't take one more second so they left early. Uncle Tim and Auntie Meg and the twins only lasted for 45 minutes before they left! It was defintely chilly but we hung in until the end!

Daddy and Annie loving the parade.

Auntie Kake and her friends Isreal and Chris.

Papa and some of the girls watching the Rocky Hill section go by!

The Rocky Hill town marshals - Lisa Zerio and Mrs. Meehan!

We love Mrs. Meehan and had a blast cheering for her when she went by!

Peter and Daddy - as you can see - Peter was freezing and not enjoying the parade one bit!
After the parade we all drove over to Rocky Hill pizza for some pizza and soda and to warm up. It was a wonderful day and the kids loved hanging out together! Papa spoils us and paid for everything as a surprise before he left to go check on Grammy.

Auntie Eileen took some pictures of the girls last week while we were at work - they look like they are miserable! NOT!

I'm not sure about their attire but they sure look like they are enjoying the warm weather.

Even the babies are outside having fun.

A little pouty face for Auntie Eileen!

Sisters.

My two girls - what little beauties!

Thanks to Auntie Ann the kids were all decked out for Saint Patrick's Day on Friday when they went to school. Poor Annie was sick - AGAIN so she didn't get to go but she wore her beautiful hair bows and had some fun with Mama and the babies.

My gorgeous Irish girl!

Peter and Molly looking very Irish and ready to celebrate at school.

Poor Annie was just miserable but wanted to go to school so bad! I felt really bad for her - so bad - I took a picture of her!

Annie's shamrock necklace.

Annie saying good morning to the birds that live in our birdhouse!

ONce the big kids were gone Annie started feeling better - she finally gave me a smile!
Hope everyone had a great Saint Paddy's Day - I know that we feel like the luckiest family in the world because of our family and friends!
GNM - ILY!
