Has it really been 4 years?

We are still getting over our awful colds but we had a happy reason to go out of the house this weekend - it was Katie's 4th Birthday! It seems like Katie was born yesterday - I still remember sitting in the living room at the beach house - 9 months pregnant and ready to burst (Annie was big and active!) and Tyler came over and whispered in my ear that his Mom was having another baby! I was shocked and excited - I don't know if it was the pregnancy hormones or my excitement but I shed a fair amount of tears! And now Katie is a sweet little person and we can't imagine life without her! I was lucky enough that Jeff gave me his camera - he recognized how much happier I am when I can document important moments so I took lots of pictures at Katie's party thanks to Jeff's generosity! Our girl is certainly photogenic!
The two sets of twins - without glasses!

The girls wanted a picture but Uncle Pat had to get in on the action!

The girls had a blast together! We could hear them giggling all the way downstairs!

The boys were SO uncooperative for pictures!

Uncle Pat and Ellie goofing around!

Papa loves wearing Ellie's ribbons - he looks adorable doesn't he?

Uncle Bob and his goddaughter!

I love this quiet moment between Bob and Katie!

Two of my favorite Eileens!

Ellie Bean loved this shopping cart!

Another masterpiece by Auntie Ann!

Some candid shots of the girls outside - my beautiful goddaughter!

Molly - girl is always good for a quick pose for Mommy! What a beauty!

My gorgeous goddaughter giving me a smile!

Lizzie Bug was outside the entire time riding Katie's bike! Lizzie would live outside if we let her no matter how cold it is out!

My handsome boy!

Elizabeth Mack - I adore that sweet little face!

Uncle Jeff and Auntie Eileen!

I promised KK that this one would get on the blog! She specifically posed for me!

Uncle Joe and Uncle B - Uncle B is wearing my favorite shirt!

Tyler Patrick - my handsome nephew!

Our Beautiful Birthday Girl!

I love that smile!

Daddy and Lizzie sharing a big hug!

Katie loved the outfits that Grammy got for her!

I just want to eat her for dinner with those rosy red cheeks! Katie was a little shy when everyone started coming in for he party but once she opened presents she was all smiles!

Paper fight!

A series of pictures of Katie from every angle - I love this girl!

Katie geting some help blowing out her candles!

Lizzie and her favorite person - Grammy! We were doing our "Table Topics" with the kids at dinner one night and the question was if you could spend one week anywhere in the world where would you go? The answers were as follows; Peter - Disney World or Newport, Molly - Newport, Annie - Stop and Shop (Don't ask!), Lizzie - Grammy's House, Ellie - Grammy's House

Uncle B and Uncle Colin showing some brotherly love!

Annie helps me clip my coupons every Sunday morning - you can't believe what a great job she does - most of the time hers are better than mine!

Mama's little helper concentrating!

These girls are so much like their Daddy - having a snack of Spicy Chili Doritos! Yuck!

Annie loves her Doritos!

My beautiful girl - it was so nice to finally see her feeling a little better!

Ellie Bean smiling for Mama - you won't see many pictures of Ellie in this batch because, quite frankly, she had boogers in every single picture!

Peter wearing his favorite T-shirt - AGAIN!

Lizzie Bug eating her Doritos - they both had the worst breath all day!

Annie practicing her Irish - I LOVE the look on her face!

My silly girl - she was singing skinamarink for me in this one!

Poor Lizzie has a terrible rash all over her cheeks. She has always had Exzcema on her body but this is the first time she had a reaction on her face. We tried to treat it with creams and ointments but, just like her Mommy, it is going to take some oral prednisone to get it to clear up. An interesting fact - the reason that they worry so much about exzcema on a child's face is because the level of bacteria in their mouth and nose is much higher than adults and the skin can easily become infected! The doctor's are treating Lizzie very agressively but nothing is working so far! I feel bad because it looks so painful and everyone knows how I can relate to skin issues!

My sweetie girl!

Annie looking a little tired after an evening sleeping in Grammy and Papa's arms! She has quite a life!

A sleepy Molly is ready for school this morning - she just looked particularly beautiful to me!
So we got to celebrate the day katie was born and, Boy, are we glad that she was born! Happy Birthday, Katherine Shannon - we adore you!
GNM - ILY!
