Little moments that caught my attention!

I don't have much time to blog tonight - Ellie is out of control with her crying - or should I call it howling! The kids had their Black History Concert today - my favorite concert of the year. They did a beautiful job and eventually I wil post some more pictures and some videos of them singing but for now I will just say, once again, how incredibly impressed I am with Noah Webster and the philosophy they promote in my children. Not only is our school filled with dedicated teachers and educators but the very learning environment which our kids are surrounded by each day is amazing! Captions are above the pictures today - not that you care!
Below is a picture of Lizzie in the new swing that Auntie Kelly brought over for us! Now we have two swings and two happy babies!

Papa at the concert today - hanging with Annie and trying to keep her quiet!

I took a bunch of pictures of Julia but can not get the red eye out and she looks very weird - I'm figuring Brigid will eventually post a few of her -sorry!
My boy bathed in the sunlight - how handsome is he?

Annie found a friend and drew for most of the concert!
Annie got lots of attention from Molly's class today!
Peter and Annie sharing a moment after the concert!
I just love this series of pictures of Molly and Lizzie sharing a quiet moment together!

My friend, Amanda, made this adorable little hat for Lizzie and I got a little carried away taking pictures of her - then I got a little carried away editing them! My girl is gorgeous - I can't help it!

This series of pictures is Bob and Lizzie - my heart does flips on a daily basis!I am the luckiest woman on earth!

Papa and the three girls are hanging out together - Papa has his hands full!
Another photo shoot with Ellie - what a cutie pie she is!
Bob is going to be home from poker soon and wonder what in the heck I am still doing up. We have a fun weekend planned with the kids - nothing too crazy but lots of family time and attention for the big kids. Tomorrow night Bob and I are going out to dinner so if you see me walking around with a goofy grin on my face you'll know why!

Just another day!

Wow - the days seem to go by so quickly - as you can see I take lots of pictures but don't get to blog as often as I would like. There is so much I want to keep track of for the kids. Like Molly the other night in the car telling us how she feels bad for Abraham Lincoln - why? you ask - because his middle name is Ham and he must have gotten made fun of! Tomorrow is the Black History Concert and Molly's microsociety venture (The Hollywood Kids) are reciting the poem about the children killed in Birmingham Alabama in the 60's - I'm blanking on the name right now but I do know that I cried hysterically as I listened to my little girl recite the heartwrenching poem and then look at me with huge brown eyes and tell me that it makes her sad every time she reads it because little girls shouldn't die because people hate them just because of their color!
Annie is SO into Mickey Mouse right now!

Ellie looking adorable all curled up on her blanket. For those of you who are wondering why her belly button is so big - she has an umbillical hernia. I know - much bigger than Lizzie's and we will learn more about it next week at the pediatrician. Ellie fits right in now!

Ellie stretched out and loving just laying around!

Daddy and Lizzie at 5 a.m. the other day!
Beautiful piggy toes!
Love that face and those BIG brown eyes!

Lizzie getting a burp from Auntie Meg. Meg came over yesterday to help me out with the babies and bond with her goddaughter. Lizzie absolutely loves Auntie Meg - and she is no easy baby!

She looks like a little china doll!

Our little angel sleeping!

Annie and her 2 baby sisters hanging out.

Babies lined up for a picture - Lizzie was so smiley!
Ellie is loving being with her big sister - yes, technically, Lizzie is her big sister since she is 12 weeks old!

Our 4 girls - how did we get so lucky?
Peter and Ellie - El calms down the second she sees her brother and he is amazing with her. He now babysits for me - I give him one of the babies and he holds them, plays with them, sits them on the couch and reads to them. He feels good and I get a few minutes to do something else!
Lizzie had a great day yesterday - her godmother was here all day and then her godfather came over for his weekly visist and hung out with her. She smiles when she sees uncle B now - of course, he also has to make sure Annie gets her fair share of attention since she gets more excited than anyone to see uncle B!

I took lots of this picture because Lizzie looked so cozy on Uncle B's chest. She never really rests her head on someone's shoulder and she stayed this way for a half hour - Just sokaing in her godfather's love!
A picture of love - I am so proud of Brendan and how attentive and loving he is with all of my kids but especially Lizzie.
Lisa came over today with Ella (age 3) and she could not get enough of the babies! Annie is her little playmate but she loves to hang with the little ones too.
The three girls hanging out while Ellie got some attention from Auntie Lisa!

Well someone is squawking away in the bedroom so I need to go feed, change or rock someone - what a life? Does it get any better than this?

It's Potty Time!

Hi All - it's 11 p.m. - way way way past my bedtime but I'm taking a few minutes to update anyways! Better than watching A-Rod cry about his admission of taking performance enhancing drugs - come on, buddy!
The sight of all of these bottles on the shelf just kind of cracked me up - Lizzie is the big bottles and we finally found a bottle that works for Ellie so her are the smaller bottles. This is what I do each night before bed!
Annie is checking on Mrs. Nelson to make sure she is taking good care of Ellie. Annie loves Mrs. Nelson and so do we - we haven't gotten into school yet so this is the first time Mrs. Nelson got to meet Ellie.

Mrs. Nelson enjoying Ellie - don't worry lizzie got plenty of cuddle time!
We went out and bought Annie a potty after realizing that we were completely ignoring her signals that she might be ready for it. I know, she's only 17 months but she knows her body and makes all all aware of what is happening with it - if you know what I mean. So we unpacked it and put it in the bathroom and she sat down and peed in it - Go Annie! I personally think that beautiful naked baby body is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. Even better if you picture her showing off her pee after she was done! She is going to be thrilled that we have a record of this! We may be on our way out to purchase Dora underwear soon! I can't wait!

This is a video of Annie in typical Annie mode. She was loving seeing herself in the mirror and couldn't help a few well placed kisses. Annie is one of those kids that I could video tape all day long - she is a joy to watch!
