Bob turned the big 44 last weekend and the kids and I celebrated in style - cleaning and then a Happy Birthday cheescake!
Molly picked out a strawberry swirl cheescake for Daddy!
Daddy and some of his girls!
Happy Birthday to the man who makes our house a home and fills our lives with love, happiness, absurdity and fun! I am so happy that Bob was born!
Our little angel. After the whole Lice fiasco I chopped the girls hair off - its kind of amazing because they still look like little princesses even with hardly any hair!
That face makes my heart skip a beat!
Annie Bananie - I was trying to get a picture of her gorgeous freckles - every day she wakes up with more! I love each and every one of them.
Molly had her big Irish Dance Recital this weekend and she could not have been more excited! Auntie Meg had to work but she came over for a quick stop to do Molly's hair and make-up. What a beauty my girl is and her auntie isn't too bad either!
She is ready for some serious dancing!
Auntie Meg's perfect bun!
I wish they let us take pictures of the recital just so I could capture the pure joy on Molly's face when she is dancing. She is in a different world, totally uninhibited and happy when she does her Irish step dancing. Bob and I held hands through her dance and I have to admit I teared up a bit. She is so talented and beautiful up on that stage but there is something that feels so good about watching your child do something that they clearly LOVE so much!
Molly and her Daddy - this was one of my favorite costumes of all times - it was spunky like my daughter!
Abby and her Nana and Papa - this was her Irish costume and I don't think she was a huge fan of it but boy did she look adorable!
Our Irish girls!
Beautiful dancers!
Tyler and Abby posing for Auntie - happily!
Abby and her proud parents!
Once again we managed to get front row center seats for both shows!
My girl all dressed up for the trophy ceremony - she got her 5 year trophy and loved every minute of the ceremony and the night. She was, rightly, very proud of herself.
Abby and Molly
Auntie Beth loves to watch Molly dance and came all the way from California for a front row seat to the recitals! Molly loves having her auntie there!
Grammy and her oldest granddaughter
Molly, Abby and their proud grandparents.
Auntie Beth and Bob wanted some attention!
My stunning goddaughter. There is something so graceful and beautiful about Abby - she is a natural dancer and your eyes are just drawn to her on stage. Yes, yes - I know she's my goddaughter and I am biased but she is a true beauty!
Molly's beautiful flowers. My girl is very much like her mom - she wanted them in her room right next to her bed so she could look at them when she went to sleep and then again when she woke up! Flowers are never wasted on Molly!
Sunday was Annie Bananie's turn for stardom but she didn't stry far from her big sister! It was a good thing I took lots of pictures before the recital because our girl was not very cooperative after!
My dancing beauty!
My little ham - I love her spunk! Annie is a free spirit when she's dancing or doing anything!
Our beautiful little dancer - ready for her show!
Daddy's girl through and through!
Except when Auntie Beth is around - then she is Auntie's girl!
Auntie and her girls - true love!
Auntie Ann and Grandma could not wait to see Annie do her Irish!
Annie and her dance BFF Emily!
I am always amazed by these two girls - they are the most photogenic little people! And they never stop talking and laughing when they are together - I love it!
Annie and her godmother!
Abby and Annie in their beautiful blue costumes - love these girls!
Annie and her adoring fans!
Annie LOVED her red roses from papa and grammy but you would never know it from this pictures - she was hungry, tired and ready to head home! Once she got in the car and had some water Annie couldn't stop talking and tonight her red roses are also next to her bed!
We had a wonderful weekend with lots of love and fun - I love to watch my girls dance and its nice to see all of their hardwork pay off. Annie was shy and didn't exactly do every step but she got out there and she did what she needed to do. She was brave and strong and tough and I adore her! Molly did every step with a smile on her face and a song on her lips - she was a ray of light whenever she was on stage! Annie and Molly did terrific and they both beamed in the light of the attention from their family! We are blessed in every way and our children are too! Molly starts her competetive workshop this weekend and she is FINALLY old enough to do the intensive camp with Griffith this summer so come September, if possible, she will be even better! Annie is going to do an art camp this summer and Lizzie and Ellie are doing a pre-k camp mostly for Lizzie to get used to some school type stuff before September! I can't wait for the summer - we have lots of stuff planned for the kids and I love not having to set an alarm! GNM - ILY!
