Just a few odds and ends!

I am apparently as prolific with Molly's camera as I am with my own - just a few pictures to post for our adoring fans - Hi Mom, KK , Meg and Bethie!
UCONN party at Auntie Kate's house on Saturday night.

Annie was decked out in her UCONN shirt and ready for some fun. We started watching the game but once UCONN was ahead quite a bit we all started talking and having fun and the game was forgotten!

Brendan was loving his pizza!

I love Lila in her little pig tails! She was so cute!

Peter loved hanging out with his uncles! Uncle B and Uncle Colin were getting geared up for the Superbowl the next day but, as usual, they were so good to their nephew!

Brendan and Ellie playing ball.

My little angel - Ellie Bean!

Molly and UNcle B have always had a special relationship - she beams when he is around!

Lila showing off for us!

I get kind of glimpse of what Lila is going to look like as a bigger kid in this picture. I want to eat those little cheeks up! She is so sweet and has the most perfect lips!

Auntie Kake is so good about reading to the girls - even when they choose the longest and most boring books. My kids are so lucky!

Kk and Ellie were reading a book. Now that Ellie is in school she loves showing off her mad alphabet skills! Kk was duly impressed!

Auntie Kake reading to Annie - AGAIN!

KK and Molly - girl - two of my favorite people in the world!

A couchfull of UCONN fans loving the time we get to spend together.

Annie Bananie in her hard hat!

Ellie got all dressed up in angel wings and her Sue Sylvester wig - she was hysterical.

Sunday was Superbowl time! We were rooting for the Patriots but other than Daddy the rest of us were pretty much in it for the food! Auntie Ann  provided us with an amazing feast - chicken wings, pasta, salad, fruit salad, cookies, eggplant - you name it we had it at our feast.

Papa came to watch the game with us and hang out while Grammy was home recuperating from a cold.

The girls got bored with football pretty quickly so they snuggled up on our bed and watched cartoons.

Papa and his girls!

Molly girl loved having a matching Patriots shirt for Daddy's!

Auntie Ann brought us a Super Bowl cake - it was delicious and the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Cake time - Annie's first real Super Bowl.

This was the first time that Peter really got the importance of the Super Bowl and he loved bonding with Daddy over football. We all had a great time thanks to Auntie Ann and a fun game - too bad the Pats lost!

Lizzie loving her cake.

Molly girl enjoying some cake by the fire before heading off to bed after Madonna's half time show. She loved madonna but kept talking about how old she was - made her mother feel ancient.

Papa and the big kids! Go Patriots!

Ellie Bean fell on the coffee table and broke her nose on Saturday. It bled for a few days and we finally took her to the doctor - they said it was a very small break and there really is nothing that you can do about it so we are going to watch it and maybe eventually see an ENT about it. It looked so painful and sore but she was a trooper all weekend!

My friend Peyton has become Ellie's Black Mama! I have given a valiant effort to understand Ellie's skin and hair needs but I was failing miserably so Peyton is teaching me how to be a good Mama to my little peanut! Here she is in her "wrap" for bed - this preserves her hairstyle for longer and makes it so the grease in her hair does not get in her bed. Ellie thinks it is adorable and the other girls have now been asking for one!

My beautiful girl! She has the BEST smile!

Ellie and Daddy loving on each other.

My mom has got to be the coolest grandmother ever! She just sat down and made the girls these awesome hats! molly LOVED hers and it is not easy to be in fashion with that little chickie!

My beautiful girls!

Sisters sporting their Grammy hats!

Ellie Bean's newest hairstyle - she loves all the pretty little barrettes all over her hair. Mama just loves how bright her face is!

Ellie's nose is healing very nicely and has finally stopped bleeding all the time - looks like we may not have to do anything else with it at this point but we have a follow up appointment just in case.

Peter got this Fanta shirt from Santa and never takes it off. I just took a few pictures of him because we had combed out his hair and he was looking rather adorable.

My handsome boy - sometimes I can't believe that I have an eleven year old!

It just dawned on me that you have no idea if/when I read this thing unless I comment. Rest assured that I eat up every last word and photo that you post, typically within minutes of you posting it! Love it! And you!
XOXO,
KK
