Twin Two Year Olds!

I learned on our recent trip to Washington that when you tell people that you have twin two year olds they automatically give a big sigh or a pitying look. Lizzie and Ellie are alot of work - but never sigh worthy! We could not imagine life without our babies and they certainly could not imagine life without each other. God knew what he was doing when he gave Lizzie a twin because she is protective and loving to a fault with Ellie. I'm not sure Ellie is appreciating her luck just yet but she adores Lizzie and looks for her when she is out! This is the twins or "the babies" as we still call them waiting for their fans to arrive for their 2nd birthday party.

Katie got there just in time!

Ellie Bean all dressed up for her birthday.

Auntie Karla gushing over Brendan,.

Auntie Ann outdid herself with Lasagna and mac and cheese. Katie and Annie loved it!

Abby always wants to hold a baby!

Lizzie can not believe that it is finally time for her presents!

Auntie Meg embraces her role as godmother and hops right in there to help Lizzie!

Uncle Colin took some convincing to help his goddaughter!

But evenutally he got in there and made her day by sitting with her all through presents.

I love toddler toys!

The babies got lots of clothes which went straight into the suitcase for Washington!

Ballerina Mobiles from Auntie Ann

Lizzie's new favorite item of clothing from her godfather - her "tookie" sweatshirt!

Ellie loved Elmo!

Katie and Karla being silly.

Uncle Pat and Lila - they look a bit alike!

We had to make the big kids come in for Cake because it was such a nice day.

Happy Birthday, Elizabeth Mack!

Happy Birthday, Eileen Mack!

Auntie Ann brought enough candles so that all of the kids could blow one out on their own cupcake.

The kids love to see the pictures on Papa's phone!Especially the video of Grammy pushing them in the car.

Papa and the twins.

Ellie got a hold of the extra cupcakes later in the day - uggg!

Getting a ride from Lizzie!

My big headed girl could not squeeze her head into the hat that Auntie Meg got her.

In their Elmo and Tookie sweatshirts from Uncle B - they could not wait to wake up in the morning and put them on!

Our beautiful baby girls!

We had a wonderful birthday celebration for our 2 girls. Lizzie and Ellie had no naps but were prefect all day and slept great that night. It is always amazing to me the love my kids are surrounded by, not just on their birthdays but everyday! These are some lucky babies! GNM - ILY!
