Hoof It For Haiti

Last Saturday we all got up early and headed out to do a 5K at our church to benefit our sister parish in Haiti. Father Anias was there and the twins competed in their very 1st 5K - we had a blast and even got to go out to breakfast afterwards.

Wow - it looks like there has to be a few winners in this athletic crew!

My girl - pre 5K staying hydrated!

My little lady!

The boys - I was trying to get a picture of them with their numbers but that didn't work out so well!

You can tell Peter is entering the teen years - everything his dad does embarrasses him.

We met a few strangers along the way! They promised to walk with us next year!

Annie got a butterfly on her cheek!

Papa helping Ellie get a butterfly on her cheek.

Tyler and Peter really wanted to run instead of walk so they found a sweet lady from our church and ran with her. She stopped me later to tell me how polite they were and what great boys they were! I was so proud!

The big finish!

The haitian flag!

Molly girl's big finish!

And here comes the stroller brigade!

We had a beautiful day and everyone was vey impressed with Auntie meg - not only up and out of the house with the twins but 7 weeks after giving birth she kicked butt in the 5K!
GNM - ILY!
