It has been a long and hard week so far. Ellie spent most of yesterday with the doctor - she was having some trouble breathing so Bob took her in and ended up having to take her for chest x-rays and breathing treatments. We came home with a nebuilizer and medication for Ellie.
We also had a court date today. The social worker and Ellie's guardian ad litem asked that Ellie be able to remain with us for adoption before September 1st. There are a few issues to be dealt with including family members from the father's side who want to adopt her. We are thrilled to have Ellie with us whether it is for a day or forever and are trusting in God's plan for our family and for Ellie but a few prayers wouldn't hurt!

Our girls! They were so cute all sitting together playing!
Ellie is getting breathing treatments every 4 hours until Friday when we see the doctor again.
Ellie can not believe that I am taking pictures of her in this state. Molly loves to look at pictures of her when she had RSV - I even took a few when she was in the hospital and she loves to talk about that time and hear about what a brave girl she was.
My baby girl falling asleep again during her breathing treatment. We have been assured by our doctor that Ellie is either suffering from allergies or mild asthma and not RSV. Bob and I said a little prayer of thanksgiving over her last night for that fact. At 6 Molly is finally outgrowing most of her symptoms from RSV but it was a long road!
So everyone is tucked safely into bed and snoring away. I just ate the last of my Easter leftovers and hope to be in dreamland before 11 tonight! We can't wait for the weekend to celebrate with Sister Ancie - she has been a nun for 75 years!
