Not much to blog about. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and a nice start to the week. Now it looks like we may have a snow day tomorrow - time to go shopping and get ready for a day of fun in the house all day! I am enjoying an uncommon moment of peace as the babies actually sleep at the same time. Lizzie had another date with her godmother last night - she came home very relaxed and was obviously showered in love up at Auntie Kate's house. The big kids woke up and when I told them that she had gone with Auntie Meg they asked why all the fun stuff happens after they are in bed. I distinctly remember that feeling from childhood - feeling like there was a big party every night after you fell asleep.
Annie has turned into a real actress when she sees the camera and I hate to admit it but Lizzie has started smiling when she sees the big black thing appear before her face. They are both so happy and playful during the day that it is hard not to snap away - they will probably both be relieved when I go back to work. Speaking of which, I am headed back on February 6th if I have anything to say about it. I am now under the care of a surgeon for the 2nd hernia repair and she is trying to convince me to stay out of work until the surgery in June - not only would that be a hardship financially but, let's face it, if they want me to relax and not lift, bend or strain too much work is most defintely the best place for me to be right now! We'll see what happens!
Annie goofing around!
Tyler and Peter found the absolute laziest way to play the Wii.

Annie Bananie was hanging with Peter on the bed and fell fast asleep - so cute!
Lizzie playing with Daddy on the couch - she was cooing and talking away!
Our little sweetie!
Lizzie loves her Papa!
I took this picture because Annie had just woken up from her nap and I love how sleepy she looks and how red her little cheeks are!
Our pretty girl!
Annie and Daddy holding hands!
Sunday Abby and Lucas came over to play and we ended up convincing their parents to leave them through dinner. I was so happy to sit at the table with all of the fun conversation and giggling that I took a picture. I love a full dinner table and I love having nieces and nephews there to join in the fun! Even Lizzie was in the highchair cooing away!
Molly and Abby were teaching Annie to Irish Step Dance and she was loving it. Annie is wearing hand me down Pajamas from Isabella - they made her look so little - like a baby again!
This sweet little look takes my breath away!
And we wonder why she doesn't want to sleep at night? The can is, obviously empty but she thought she was hot stuff because she got her hands on the can.
I finally got in to work on Monday to introduce Lizzie to everyone in person. I forgot to take pictures when she went into the back to meet the docs but I did remember to take a few with my Meriden staff. This is Annie with Maria - they had a present for Annie when we got there - so sweet!
