Happy Halloween 2013

Mother Nature was pretty kind this year on Halloween after 2 disappointing years for the kids due to weather issues. The weather was a little rainy but warm and mild and perfect for seeing some of our favorite people and trick or treating around their neighborhoods.
I took this picture of Annie because Molly had just passed on her very favorite pajamas to Annie and it was th sweetest thing ever. Annie could not stop thanking her because she was so excited - they had always been Annie's favorite of Molly's! She even offered Molly her ice cream cup!

Lizzie was trying on Annie's costume!

My Molly Girl looking adorable in her new sweatshirt that I found in my closet. I had bought it for her for her birthday and forgot to give it to her - Oops! Better late than never!

The littles are ready for some trick or treating! I'm not a huge fan of Halloween - mostly because my kids are pretty darn adorable without costumes but I have to admit that they did a great job this year choosing really sweet costumes! I also love that Bob and I still get to pretty much pick because there are some pretty bad costumes out there.

They are ready to go but their older siblings are taking a LONG time to get moving!

Finally all the girls are ready but where is their big brother! Every time they posed for a picture Annie posed like a cowgirl - so cute!

And finally my teenager is ready to go! Pete loved his costume from last year so much that he wore it again this year! I certainly wasn't complaining!

We made Peter take off his mask so I could get a picture of my five little monsters! I am truly the luckiest mother on earth!

Ellie's costume was adorable and warm but it was tough for her because it was kind of bulky and hard to walk in. She got a lot of comments on it and we loved her little brown face peeking out of all that white hair. Look at that beautiful smile - I can't even stand it!

We finally made it to Grammy and Papa's to see the cousins! The ids could not have been more excited - all of their favorite people in one place!

My goddaughter had an awesome costume - an 80's girl! She couldn't be cuter!

Peter and his godfather!

Lila hates to have her Auntie take her picture but it doesn't stop me! I love that tiny little face!

My perfect little witch - that smile just melts me every time!

Molly as little red riding hood. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so conservative because I know Molly wanted to be a lot of other things but I felt the costumes were not appropriate. Then I see her in a sweet costume like this and I'm glad I still get to help pick her costumes out! I still can't believe how beautiful my little girl is!

Brendan had his cousins so he was very uninterested in his auntie - poor me! I still adore this sweet baby boy and he looked adorable!

Molly came up with Annie's costume after Annie said she would love to be a cowgirl. I was amazed at how easily she came up with all of this great stuff and how incredibly cute Annie looked in it!

My little pumpkin!

Finally a little smile for her Auntie!

A cousins Halloween! Just how I remember every Halloween I had growing up!

The Best Halloween's are Cousins Halloweens!

Katie was Rapunzel - she loved her blonde, straight hair which I thought was really funny because most people would kill for Katie's gorgeous dark, curly locks!

Lizzie Bug loved being a witch!

They don't have matching glasses anymore because Molly's broke but they still look a lot alike! And they're both gorgeous!

Papa never lets a photo op go by if he can help it! I love this picture! Happy smiles for a happy Halloween!

Tyler and Peter are ready to head out for trick or treating! Love these boys!

Tyler may follow in Auntie Beth's footsteps - he's a pretty good actor!

I love this boy - especially in his Red Sox outfit!

Abby's 80's pose! Loved this costume!

There's my handsome boy's smile! I only had to wait until he was leaving for him to be happy to see me! But I'll take it any way I can get it!

This was Lady Li's reaction to another picture request - I love it!

Auntie Meg and her beautiful goddaughter! When we drove up and Lizzie saw Auntie Meg's car she screamed and jumped up and down! She's crazy about her Godmama!

Grammy and Papa and their 8 grandchildren! We are so blessed!

Annie and her godmother! She loves being with Auntie Karla anywhere and anytime!

KK showed up and the kids went crazy!! It was a perfect Halloween!
My camera died before we got to Auntie Ann's and Auntie Kake's where there were even more Aunts and Uncles waiting but you can imagine how much fun we had and how tired all of the kids were before we got home! It was just a reminder of how lucky we are to be so close, geographically and in spirit, to our family and how blessed we are that we all love being together so much!

Our little monkeys!

I took advantage of the little girls wearing matching pajamas to take a few pictures but they were not very cooperative. They still look adorable!

Three little monkeys jumping on the new couches!

Auntie Beth was home for a very short visit and Annie took every opportunity she could to snuggle and get closer to her Auntie.

Ellie and her Godmama

Auntie Beth getting some Harding - Wheeler loving!

It took Lizzie a while to make her way to Auntie Beth's arms but once she did she didn't want to leave them. Could she look happier?

Happy Baby with her Auntie

The girls loving on their Auntie!

The weather was so mild last week that we spent the entire week outside - even at night it was still warm enough to go outside without shoes and in our pajamas.

Molly Girl practicing her Irish out in the yard - look at those pointed toes!

Lila and Brendan came over for a sleepover and we had a blast. We played outside for a while before heading inside to make our own pizza!

Working with our pizza dough - you guessed it - no one but the kids would eat what they made because they did some pretty gross things with their dough.

Lila - hard at work making pizza.

Lizzie Bug likes the flour the best!

Annie Bananie had a blast making pizza!

Flour face - she had no idea why we were all laughing at her! She has the cutest little button nose!

Annie loved making pizza with Lila and Brendan!

Pizza Picnic and a movie - my kids idea of heaven!

Uncle Bob asked Lila and Brendan what they wanted for Saturday morning breakfast and the answer was DONUTS - without a moment of hesitation!

Happy Donut Face

I had to take advantage of Lila wanting a picture - usually she is shy about pictures despite the fact hat I have had my camera in her face since she was a newborn.

I love that smile!

Brendan needed a backpack to get ready for our trip to the park! We found him a red sweatshirt and a SpongeBob backpack - not bad for a house full of girls!

Off to the park with the little kids! We decided to go to Mikey's Place and we ended up being there for 2 hours - I couldn't get them to leave!

Saturday Night before the RH fireworks Uncle Brian and KK invited us over for a fire and s'mores and a cookout. We had a beautiful night and then headed over to the park for fireworks! It was perfect!

On Sunday Auntie Kara came over for a visit and brought my two handsome nephews - Reillyn and Macklin. We had a nice relaxing day talking while the kids played outside and in the playroom together. We decided that we are going to do it a lot more. Auntie Beth came over to say goodbye before she headed back to LA so I quickly snapped a few pictures.

We had a great visit with Auntie Beth although it was much too short!
