Happy Happy Happy Thanksgiving!

The Harding - Wheeler Family has alot to be grateful this year and we certainly celebrated in style. Grammy made a beautiful meal while all Mommy had to do was cook the turkey - that alone makes it a great Thanksgiving. In the morning Auntie Meg, Uncle Tim and the babies came over for breakfast and deep frying turkeys. Then we headed over to Grammy and Papa's for dinner, footbal and fun. Later in the day Auntie Kake and the aunties came to visit with a special surprise visit from Auntie Beth all the way from LA. And to end the perfect day Auntie Meg and the twins came over to Grammy and Papa's! The day could not have been more perfect - even the weather cooperated!

Needless to say - we could not get a picture of all 5 kids!

Bob and I decided to take the kids Bowling on Friday to have some family time. The kids had a blast and so did the parents - I love watching the kids learn new things. Peter and Molly are at the point where they really know how to bowl and take it seriously - the baby girls just love to have fun chucking the ball.

I have some new pictures to upload of the twins birthday party this weekend but we are leaving for Washington tomorrow so I need to get packing. You can expect updates when we return home and lots of pictures of Ellie and Lizzie's 1st trip to our favorite city in the world - Washington, DC!

Elizabeth Mack - 2 Year Old Extraordinaire

On November 11, 2010 - Elizabeth Mack Harding - Wheeler turned 2 years old. It was hard for me to write on the day of Lizzie's birthday because on the same day that we were celebrating the 2 glorious years since her birth we were also celebrating the life of Sister Ancillita who had died a few days before. Sister Ancie was Lizzie's biggest fan, one of the first people to hold her after her birth and I still can't imagine throwing a party for our twins knowing that she will not be there!

Lizzie was not so sure about her donut with candles!

The Birthday girl from every angle!

Lizzie got twin baby dolls - Lila and Lila! She also got a bed, stroller, bouncy seat and play gym for her babies so that she can do everything that Auntie Meg does with her babies.

Daddy and his birthday girl!

Lizzie loved opening her presents but she was wonderful about letting the other girls share in the opening.

Daddy's little athlete loved her balls!

Lizzie also got a bunch of dress up stuff for her  birthday and loved dressing up with her sisters!

Happy Princess!

Mad Princess!

Annie truly was in heaven trying on Lizzie's dress up stufff!

Lizzie couldn't be bothered - she was busy taking care of Lila and Lila!

Our little princess!

And it wouldn't be a happy birthday without a morning visit from Papa!

Happy Birthday to Papa and grammy's seventh grandchild!

And of course, the girls got somewhat creative with the crib!

Lizzie had a great day and we are going to have a big party for the twins one of these days. In the mean time our little Ladybug has been the light of our lives for the last two years. Lizzie is as loveable a child as I have ever met, hugs, kisses, pats on the back, smiles, grins and more - Lizzie makes life happier! She and Ellie are as twinnie as they can get - Lizzie hates to be away from Ellie and hates it more when Ellie is unhappy. Seeing them together and loving each other makes my heart soar - if ever someone doubted God's plan - just check these two little girls out! The day before Lizzie's birthday Bob and I took a few minutes to pray and remember back to that moment 2 years ago when we had only 12 hours before we would meet our 4th child, our little girl. We remember being giddy with excitement at the thought of finally meeting her and knowing her. Now we realize that we had no idea just how blessed we would be by Elizabeth and all of the joy that she would bring to our lives. I believe that Lizzie's gentle spirit and loving soul is a result of the immense love that she felt from the moment she was concieved - from the warm, loving hands of family and friends on my belly to the soft kisses and constant holding as she has grown into toddlerhood. She is a joy every single day and we thank God that she was born. Happy Birthday, Elizabeth Mack! We dreamed of You! GNM - ILY!
