Our Weekend Guest

The Harding - Wheeler's pulled out all the stops this weekend for our visit from Brendan. Auntie Kake had Lila overnight on Saturday so we begged and pleaded to get Brendan for the night and Meg and Tim finally gave in and agreed. The kids were so excited that they even cleaned a little. On Friday Lizzie and I went out and got Brendan a little bike to ride at the consignment shop and set up his crib in the playroom. We were ready for some weekend fun and Brendan did not disappoint!
My little prodigy loves playing the piano!

The weather was perfect so we spent lots of time outside on Saturday. Molly and I had to be at an extra dance rehearsal so Uncle Bob took all the littles to the park and even though I didn't have a camera you can imagine how much fun Brendan had with all of his cousins wanting to play with him.

My beautiful girl loves being outside - no matter how hot or cold!

Ellie Bean learned how to get on the swing herself and pump her legs.

My sweet boy loving the swings.

On Saturday night Auntie Eileen and Uncle Jeff came over for pizza and, as usual, Uncle Jeff did lots of pushing!

My Annie Girl!

Three kids having fun on the swings.

Even Molly Girl loves being on the swings - especially when Brendan is around.

My gorgeous girl - I love the little blond streaks in her hair.

Did I seriously wake up one morning and find a teenager in my house? Everytime I look over at Peter I am amazed at how grown up and mature he is! Such a hadsome boy!

The men in my life! I am such a lucky woman!

Daddy's baby - Bob won't be doing this for long!
Time for the nightly Harding - Wheeler dance party!

My beautiful girls love their dress up!

Our own little snow white!

Even Brendan got dressed up!

Brendan got dressed up in one of Molly's dance costumes - he looked adorable but had trouble dancing! Evenutally he just got naked to dance!

My handsome boy - such a love!

Sweet Annie smiles.

Lizzie loves wearing dresses that twirl! She is such a girl!

lizzie Bug - her serious face!

Sit and Spin in the dance costumes - so cute!

Auntie Eileen and Brendan

Bendan loved his new bike that Lizzie picked out for him! He rode all around the living room and, as you can see, fell a few times in the process!

Tubby Time - every single Harding - Wheeler child gathered around the sink to play with Brendan while he had a bath! He was very entertaining!

Love those Brendan smiles!

He makes my heart melt!

Good Morning, Brendan! Uncle Bob got donuts on Sunday morning and everyone sat around playing playdough, drinking special hot chocolate and eating donuts! It was so much fun!

Brendan loves coming over because he truly loves being outside every minute of the day. It was very cold at 7:15 when he woke up but he went straight to the back door and was ready to go play. I felt horrible that we had to say no but once he saw the donuts he snapped right out of it. The Harding - Wheeler kids were thrilled that not only did we get Brendan but we got to have donuts for breakfast as a special treat!

Playdough time - I had spent a few hours doing Ellie's hair a few nights before - I might actually be getting the hang of this!

Uncle Bob playing playdough with the kids!

Molly and Brendan.

I am amazed at how incredibly gorgeous Molly is - I'm not sure we are ready for the teenage years - she is getting pretty moody!
Molly and Brendan - so cute!

Lizzie took a nap while she waited for Brendan to wake up and then they snuggled on the couch!

My sweet baby boy!

And Lizzie Bug!

Lizzie could not wait to get the tents set up so that she could play with Brendan in them.

Cousins!

Fun in the tents!

My seetie girl - love that smile!

Having a blast in the tents. The big kids had gone to see the Avengers with Bob and Uncle Colin - they had a blast and Lizzie got some time with Brendan while Ellie slept!

Look Auntie, No hands!

My beautiful girl - Ellie just looked too cute to not take a few pictures of her - she is so truly gorgeous that sometimes i can't take my eyes off of her!

And then Lizzie insists on some pictures of her in her favorite shirt - her Red Sox shirt from Katie.

The twins loving on each other!

These two little munchkins take my breath away! I am such a lucky Mama!

Love this picture of my little princess putting on her speedy sneakers so she cna go out and run in the yard - she's all girl but don't make her sit still for even a minute!
So we had a great weekend with Brendan. he is, literally, an angel. He slept perfectly, woke up happy, played great with all of the kids and gave Auntie Kasey and Uncle Bob tons of hugs, kisses and love! We had so much fun getting Brendan all to ourselves and can't wait to spend one of these weekends with lila! We have a busy week this week so there will be more pictures to share soon enough!

Saturday Family Fun!

Saturday was supposed to be rainy and cold but when we woke up it turned out to be incredibly beautiful! Once we did the rounds of extra dance rehearsals and yard work we headed off to the Dinosaur Park for some hiking and family time. It turned out everyone had the same idea so it was kind of crowded but the butterflies are starting to appear and nothing gets the littles excited more than the gorgeous colors of the butterflies!

If you read the blog you know that I am a sucker for these weird things that you stick your head in! My kids - apparently love them too!

Even Bob gets in on the pictures when he can look like a long neck dinosaur!

My five gorgeous children!

Will they ever all look and smile at the same time? Probably not but this Mama keeps trying!

Molly insisted on taking one of Bob and I! She is such a good photographer!

The seven Harding - Wheelers - how lucky am I?

The girls!

Ellie LOVES hiking, running, walking, bouncing! She loves to be moving!

My sweet baby girl!

Sisters!

Lizzie Bug being reflective while she balances on a rock!

Annie Bananie loves playing in the rocks by the butterfly garden.

Lizzie is such an athlete - she goes to the highest point on the wall and jumps without even thinking about it! Love her spirit!

I love this picture of the girls jumping together - they had the hugest grins on their faces.

The four girls jumping!

This is the log that Molly wants for our living room - she thinks it would make the perfect couch!

Balancing on the fallen tree!

Lizzie needs some help from Daddy to do what her big sister did!

It's all about balancing in this family!

I love this picture! Everyone just happened to stop near this huge tree so we could watch the butterflies over the swamp. I suddenly looked over and realized that my entire world was smiling up at me next to a 300 year old tree - so I did what any good mother would do and grabbed the camera!

Annie's butterfly, Twinkle!

Taking a rest!

And again - whatever Molly does they all do! The joys of being a big sister!

Annie trying to get a flutterfly to land on her!

After an hour and half of hiking we headed back to our favorite rock for some water and a snack!

Ellie Bean loves being outside and moving - she kept yelling, "I'm so happy!"

Annie banged into Gavin's teeth at school and has a giant bump on her poor little head - that being said, she is still unbelievably gorgeous!

My beautiful baby girl - every day she gets more freckles along the bridge of her nose!

Mommy and Molly taking a break in the grass and having a snack. Molly and I did the real hiking trails in the back of the park - they were very tiring! Love anything I can do with my Molly-Girl!

Daddy was sitting on this rock and once I took a picture of Ellie hugging him all the littles followed suit! Too cute!

Annie and Daddy

Elizabeth Mack and her Daddy

I was trying to get a nice picture of our twins but they were not cooperative in any way! Lizzie was so interested in her pretzels that she barely looked at me!

And this is our twins - laying on a rock, munching on pretzels and smiling up at Mama! Life doesn't get better than being these girls Mom!

My sweetie girl!
All in all a really relaxing and nice weekend. We have lots of fun stuff coming up in the next few weeks so it was nice for the seven of us to get out and do something together! My guess is that you will see more pictures of us at the Dinosaur Park since it is the place the kids always want to go when we ask them! Sounds okay to me!
