Happy First Reconcilliation

Today was a very long - very tiring day for the kids but they did great! Peter and Molly both made their First Reconcilliation today. I won't say it was uneventful but we made it through and Bob and I are so proud of our two big kids! Next weekend is Peter's First Communion and we are so excited! Molly will make hers next year so this year she is just going to support her brother as he makes his communion. Today molly was the very first child to make her reconcilliation and when she was done she came over and sat with Peter as he waited for his turn - she told him not to worry and let him know exactly what had happened when she went in to see the priest! It was very sweet!
Molly was very nervous but she did great! And she looked beautiful, as well!

My two big kids - after their 1st Reconcilliation!

Cutting the beautiful cakes that Auntie Ann made for them to mark this special day!

The rest of the pictures are just silly pictures from this afternoon when everyone woke up from their naps. Lizzie and Annie were hot and took their tops off - I think it makes them even cuter! I'm not going to caption them because blogger is SO slow! Trust me - they don't need captions! Make your way to the bottom and see Ellie Bean taking a bunch of steps - so exciting! It's finally spring and we are loving being outside! I have some pictures from earlier this week but wanted to get these up first! Bear with me - there are lots of them!

We miss our Auntie's who are visiting Auntie Beth in California - this is the first time since learning about Brendan and Lila that i have gone more than one day without seeing them and Auntie Meg - AHHHHHHHH! I guess the news that Auntie Meg and KK (hope this isn't a secret!!!) will both be permenant Rocky Hill residents by the end of June will get us through! YEAH!
This morning was hard and Peter really struggled but God is good because by the middle of the day we were reminded about all of the blessings that God has given us. We all took a big deep breath, had a family dinner, played in the yard and watched a movie. It was a perfect evening - just what we all needed! Tomorrow we are headed to Gammy and Papa's with Auntie Karla and Uncle Pat and the kids to have one of Grammy's famous brunches! I can't wait! GNM - ILY!

What a Weekend!

First off - let's just say this - I have become a slacker! My beautiful goddaughter turned 6 this weekend and had two birthday parties - a kids party and a family party and guess who has not one picture of either party? That would be me! I think I should get credit for remembering all of my children and not be made fun of for forgetting the camera - agreed?
Daddy and his three girls watching a show while Mommy does everyone's hair. Sounds like it should be fairly easy but try getting out the door with 5 kids dressed, fed and with hair that is not blocking their eyesight - my four girls can make life very difficult in the hair department - thus the rat's nest that you see anytime we are not going somewhere!Lizzie's new obsession is to put socks on her hands and try to pick things up - we're not sure what the deal is but she has a blast doing it!Auntie Beth spent the majority of the weekend with one child or another attached to her side. And if one was not attached then they all were! Ellie loving on her godmother!Peter is so good with the little girls! Lizzie loves to be on his shoulders - look at her sweet little smiles for her brother!Annie - taking care of her new doll from Auntie Beth. She named it Tay Tay (after KK) and goes around telling everyone that Tay Tay pooped - I love it!On Sunday it was rainy and cold so we made a fire and snuggled all day until we went up to Auntie Kake's for dinner. Lizzie got comfy next to the fire!Molly went to Abby's girl party on Sunday and was so proud of her hair and nails. They even sprayed her in glitter. I let her skip her Sunday night shower (unheard of in this house) so that she could save it for school and show Miss Kelly and her friends!Lizzie loved having Auntie Beth read to her - look at the smile on her face!Ellie and Auntie Beth getting some quality time!Auntie Meg hates these Pajamas becasue they make Lizzie look like a football player but her mama loves them - they make her look like a baby!Auntie Beth's last night and Peter and Ellie are trying to soak her in before she goes back to LA. Ellie loved getting her bottles from her godmother a few nights in a row. KK letting the girls use her phone to make animal noises!I love this picture - Kk and Annie hanging out!Annie's new obsession is Auntie Beth - she spent the entire weekend begging to do anything with her - shower, eat, go out, sleep. On the 1st day Auntie Beth had some defenses and could say no but by that night she was done - Annie went everywhere with her. Try very hard to ignore the 10,000 fingerprints on the window behind them and just look at Kk beaming with her godfather!Annie - not beaming so much!Lizzie and Annie's favorite game. This is not a great picture but I just love Peter's smile when he doesn't think anyone is watching. Look at those eyelashes - what a handsome son I have!Annie - loving playing with her sister! Lizzie loves to empty out the blocks and hide in the bin!
We are missing Auntie Beth already - the kids beg to call her all the time and she hasn't even been gone for 24 hours. Annie woke up saying that "it was better when Auntie Beth sleeps here!" And Molly is beside herself missing her auntie. That being said - Auntie Meg showed up at 7 with a dozen donuts and eased the angst and tonight Uncle B and Kk came over and entertained the kids. Now they are out with Lizzie-bug eating dinner and hanging out! She was thrilled to get out with her aunt and uncle and even better - she got some alone time away from the chaos of the house! We have a big weekend this weekend - Peter and Molly are making their 1st reconcilliation! We are so proud of them!
Many people have e-mailed and asked for more Annie videos - thought you might get a kick out of this one! Annie singing Beyonce!
