Wow, am I getting bad at this! I may resort to just posting pictures to keep everyone up to date - even our weekends get away from me these days! this is such an amazing time in our little family. Annie is talking like crazy and, as everyone knows, when your baby starts talking everything that comes out of their mouth is adorable! Annie is no exception - there were a few days when every sentence ended with "all day", then she entered the "um" phase of imitating Molly by putting um before most words, now we sing everything and, I have to say, this may be my favorite. Of course, now that she is talking, Annie wants to talk on the phone so all of my poor relatives are getting phone calls with a loud Hi and then baby babble for a few minutes followed by a very sweet "bye bye" and the apology from Mommy for making them listen (or not listen)! So that's Annie and the babies are equally as adorable - Lizzie is sitting up and playing all the time while smiling at anyone who makes eye contact and Ellie is almost sitting up and blows rasbperries all the time. Peter is amazingly mature these days - he has long conversations with us about important things and is really interested in hearing what we have to say. Peter is in to Biographies and Autobiographies and he can spend hours telling us about the people he reads about. His teacher is SO cool - she is teaching them about Lou Gehrig and in the process taching the kids about what it would be like to be alive at that time - including all about the cars of the time and all sorts of other stuff. I love hearing Peter's enthusiasm. And Molly did the BEST thing this week - she totally GOT money! Money is terrible to teach kids - my least favorite thing if you ask me - it always seems obvious and easy to me but it takes FOREVER for them to learn it! But my girl has it down cold! Can you say Brilliant? I'm thrilled to be done with trying to act patient!

Ellie had so much fun in the exersaucer that she just got pooped out!How cute is our girl? This is the hat that Annie got in the hospital when she was born - the kids put it on Ellie and it actually looked adorable!Sweet baby girl! She's a thumb sucker - no doubt about it!Molly had a cousins sleepover on Friday night and they all had a blast. Bob went to a movie with Colin so it was just me and the 8 kids - very few pictures! She loves books already!Katie came to visit but didn't get to sleep over - not yet!Molly loving on Katie!Abby and Julia ended up sleeping on the same mattress - Julia was trying to get closer and closer to Abby but Abs kept moving further over - it was very cute! Check out Abby's drool! And then there's the princess all sprawled out! My beautiful goddaughter sleeping! Is there anything better than a toddler with an ice cream cone?Annie wasn't too anxious to leave for the beach with Papa - right?kisses for Mommy and Daddy!Annie and her favorite pal - Papa!Lizzie is sitting up and having a blast! She even looked through the flahscards - brilliant!

What a face - I love the personality on that sweet baby girl! We have a busy weekend - Molly's dance recital, the Memorial Day Parade, memorial Day at the beach house - hint hint, Mom and Dad!

Our girl has teeth!

I came home from work today to Auntie Meg beaming as she held her goddaughter in her arms. Apparently Auntie Meg was checking out Lizzie's mouth and made an interesting discovery! Lizzie has her two bottom teeth.
It's hard to see them but my little sweetie was not very cooperative. The tooth on the left is a quarter of the way up and the other one is just breaking the surface. You would never know she was teething because she has been in the best mood!

My happy smiley girl - Lizzie got her teeth at 6 months!
We had 8 kids here tonight for a sleepover so there will be lots of picture tomorrow! Grammy and her sisters are at the beach house for a Sisters weekend to celebrate Auntie Ann's 70th birthday - we miss her but we hope they are all having a great time!

Where did the week go?

WOW - this week went by so quickly! We have a lazy weekend planned so that we can get some stuff done around the house so wish us luck!

Ann got hold of a blue marker and was not happy to have it taken away!
Tubby time with Lizzie!

Happy Mother's Day, Grammy! What better way to celebrate than at the beach house!

Grammy loved her cards and her present - a mug with all of her grandchildren quished on it!

Annie and Molly love their accessories but this one is over the top, even for Ann.

Papa and Elizabeth!
Annie looked adorable in the sweater that my grandmother made for me when I was little. Auntie Sue gave it to me for my shower when I was pregnant with Annie. I can't remember much about my grandmother because she died when I was so young but it was very special for Annie to wear something made by her hands on Mother's Day.
The whole clan!
The twins - not sure if we told everyone what Ellie's name will be once she is adopted! We wanted her to have a family connection and a special connection to "her twin" so since Lizzie is Elizabeth Mack, Ellie is going to be Eileen Mack. We'll see if Ellie stick afterwards or not - my suspicion is that other nicknames will emerge!
Lizzie Mack!
Ellie!

Lizzie wrapped up in Daddy's sweatshirt to stay warm at the beach!

Beautiful Girl!
Uncle Pat and Annie
Uncle Bob and his goddaughter.
katie and Annie played so nice together - I have a feeling they are going to be the best of friends!
Our boys!
The four girls snuggling before school one morning this week.
My girls - how cute are they?
Annie hanging out with Lizzie while she eats!
Annie winking at me!
Is it me or does she look like an angel?

Silly faces.
Lizzie was a mess while she ate but that didn't stop me from taking a million pictures of her.

I was trying to see if Annie and Lizzie looked alike so I put these pictures of just their faces together - both are gorgeous but I'm not sure how much they look alike!

This is the sweet smile that makes me grin from ear to ear.
Molly loves to help out with the babies - here she is with Ellie in the Baby Bjorn calming her down! Ellie loved it!
While Peter was over playing with the other babies!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day - I was spoiled with sleeping late, hugs and kisses, presents and flowers and a day with all of my kids and my own mother! Could it get any better? In my house - Yes - Peter wrote me a heartfelt card all on his own and it was amazing. Not to be outdone, Molly-girl wrote me a poem that was amazing. It doesn't seem right that one mother should be this blessed!
