I came home to find that Auntie Meg had put Lizzie's hair up in pigtails - I couldn't take my eyes off of her for the rest of the day - how cute!
Ellie is still loving being in the swing - it is one of the only times when she is just totally relaxed and chill.

Grammy and Papa stayed home from the beach this weekend to attend oodles of parties so we took advantage of the empty cottage and headed to Westbrook. Here's the thing about the beach house - we thought we loved going there for the beach, the house and the to get away from things but it turns out that for us - and especially for the kids - the draw is Grammy and Papa. They spent the entire weekend asking for their grandparents and asking if we could go home to see them.
We didn't have our normal baby equipment so we made due with blankets and toys from the diaper bag! Ellie loved it!

We let Pete take Annie for a walk all on his own!My Mommy heart was just bursting as I watched them - he stopped to show her flowers and bugs and anything else he could think of. All of the neighbors stopped them to say Hi and he was so proud!

We had a wonderful day at the beach - it was a perfect beach day. Ellie was cranky all weekend - probably because she got a tooth! YEAH! You won't see many pictures of Ellie because she literally cried all weekend!

The original beach baby - he could not get enough of the beach - swimming, surfing, skim boarding and checking out the bottom of the ocean with his goggles. He is just amazing!
Molly and Daddy - I don't let Molly wear bathing suits that show her belly - unfortunatly this is from last year and did NOT show her belly last year - she grew a few inches and now there is a 5 inch gap. It was the only suit she had so we made do!

2 minutes later daddy realized the sandbar was disappearing and that Pete would be carrying them all back on his surfboard if they didn't head back quickly!

We ended up coming home early and the kids went to play at Auntie Karla and Uncle Pat. Bob and I put the babies to bed and then got all of the chores we needed to do done........or we read for 5 minutes and both fell asleep! Do you think less of us or are you just jealous?

my babies are so beautiful...cannot wait until July 30th...10 whole days of baby lovin':-) Got5ta admit, totally and completely jealous of Annie for getting to fall asleep on Papa's lap...a girl never gets too old to want to feel that safe and loved!!!
